Mickie Harrington-Rodway has been designing and handpainting Christmas ornaments, and selling them in shops nationwide for 27 years. She offers only the highest-quality, handcrafted ornaments, direct from her studio in Rhode Island.

The ornaments

Many of the handcrafted ornaments created by Mickie Harrington-Rodway are three-dimensional. They are lightweight, constructed of jewelry board, so they don't weigh down the branches of the your tree the way the resin and clay ornaments can.

She uses acrylic paints, and light-fast pens, which make the ornaments resistant to fading.

Mickie finishes both sides of all ornaments and personalizes them for free. Her handwriting is impeccable and widely praised. To view a handwriting sample, click here.

The sleds measure approximately 4.5 by 1.75 inches; the shovels, approximately 5.25 by 2.75 inches; and the circles, 3.5 inches in diameter. All other shapes are approximately 3.5 x 3.5 inches with the exception of the birdhouse and mailbox, which measure approximately 3.75 by 2.5 inches.

To personalize your ornaments, you can refer to the list of possible personalization suggestions, or you can suggest one of your own. All ornaments are signed by the artist and include the year. Because they are handcrafted, the ornaments may vary slightly, making them truly unique!
